Consumers are increasingly becoming rule makers. The way in which organizations and consumers interact has fundamentally changed, and meeting the consumer where they are to create a seamless experience is front and centre. According to a report from TEKsystems, 72% of organizations are focused on improving customer experience through their digital transformation efforts, and technologies such as cloud computing, IoT and AI are enabling the innovation that will deliver value to the customer. So how do we make the most of it? Understanding the key data points, technology infrastructure and operations with a view on the ‘total experience’, are crucial to CX planning in 2021 and remaining agile in a quickly transforming world.

Many organizations are now turning toward business model innovation to complement and encourage product and process innovation. Innovation leaders need to cut through the noise to deliver transformational change that delivers core business objectives, and business model innovation is key to creating this value whilst embedding a culture of innovation.
During this roundtable session we will examine how the building blocks of data, technology, and business strategy can combine to create real business outcomes for more transformational changes that can open up new routes to market and deliver better outcomes for your customers and your business.

According to a study by Capgemini major cultural disconnect between leadership and employees is the biggest blocker to digital transformation. For companies to fully embed innovation or to digitally transform requires a shift of organisation culture, including the mindsets, behaviours and ways of working – from leaders and managers to front line staff.
From Gartner’s perspective, “the transformation journey is taking large enterprises especially at least twice as long and costing twice as much as they originally anticipated.” In large part this is due to cultural readiness — “53% of the organizations surveyed remain untested in the face of digital challenge and their digital transformation readiness therefore uncertain.”
