Portland's
First Annual
Jewish Food Conference
Portland’s
Jewish Food Conference builds on the
momentum of a growing national
movement that explores the
intersections of Jewish tradition and
contemporary food issues, with the
goal of supporting the creation of
healthier and more sustainable
communities in the Pacific Northwest
and beyond.
A
gathering of local cooks, farmers,
producers, educators, eaters and
thinkers, this conference will explore
issues of sustainable agriculture,
food justice, and the DIY movement
through the lens of Judaism, while
deepening Jewish experience and
practice through the ever-expanding
conversation about food and
agriculture in our community.
