The Institute for Judaic Studies of the Pacific Northwest is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization funded by foundation and agency grants, and the generosity of its supporters.

Recently the Board decided to change from a membership model to one based on focused support. We ask that you either make a General Donation to IJS or a focused donation to one of the Institute's dedicated funds. All or part of your donation may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax advisor.

Rabbi Stampfer Lecture Fund
Rabbi StampferTo honor Rabbi Stampfer's 28 years of service as executive director of the Institute for Judaic Studies a new lecture fund was established in his name. This "Rabbi Stampfer Lecture Fund" will allow us to bring a speaker to our community on an annual basis.

Roscoe Nelson Lecture Fund

                          NelsonThe Nelson Lectures have been given since 1984, in memory of Roscoe C. Nelson Jr., who was a founder (with Rabbi Stampfer) of the Institute for Judaic Studies and served as its first president.



Portland Jewish Film Festival Fund
pjff logoSupport the Portland Jewish Film Festival, now in its 20th year. Contributions to this fund will help cover the cost of movie rentals as well as provide lower priced tickets for students and seniors.


Rabbi Stampfer Community Enrichment Award Fund
